2024-2025 Science Olympiad Registration

For Divisions B (grades 6-9) and Division C (grades 9-12)

Thanks for your interest in the 2025 Science Olympiad season!

To compete at ANY tournament in or out of state, EACH step must be followed at the beginning of the season:

1. Coach registration: Sign in (returning) or create a log in (new)
2. Team registration: Assign teams for your school (see registration steps)
3. Fee payment: Pay by online credit card or mailed check (Georgia Science Olympiad W9 for bookkeepers who need it). Your invoice will be visible on the Coaches Dashboard once your teams have been assigned to your school.

Important Dates

• Coach and team registration begins: 8/3/24
• Coach and team registration closes: 10/31/24
• Fee payment deadline: 7 days prior to your school's first competition or 12/10/24 (whichever comes first)
• Late payment ($300 per team) deadline: Before noon 12/20/24, either via online credit card or via check delivered in person to Forsyth Central HS. Payments received after this will be voided.

Payment and Team Details

• The membership fee is $250 per team competing at ANY tournament
• Schools who are new to Science Olympiad or have not competed in Science Olympiad since 2019-20 can email director@georgiascioly.org for a discounted membership fee
• A school may field as many teams as they would like
• Each team may have a maximum of 15 students; there is no minimum number of students per team
• Teams whose membership payments are late are not guaranteed a regional competition spot or the site of their choice
• GASO does not provide refunds for team registration
• All coaches and teams must abide by the national and state policies
