Welcome to the exciting possibilities that happen with the Science Olympiad. Science Olympiad is a National Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics program that allows students to apply what they know in a competitive setting. Nevada Science Olympiad offers Division A for grades 3 through 5, Division B for middle school students, grades 6 through 9, and Division C for high school students, grades 9 through 12. Students compete in 10 events for Division A and 23 events for Divisions B & C, which include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in the Science Olympiad, with the top teams advancing from the Regional to the State to the National levels.
