2023-2024 Kentucky Science Olympiad Registration
Division B (grades 6-9), Division C (grades 9-12)
Welcome back and thank you for your interest in the 2023-2024 Science Olympiad season.
Our office is approaching the KYSO State Tournament on April 13, 2024 as an in-person state tournament with guidance from and in consultation with the National Science Olympiad office.

Team Composition
Each team has a maximum of 15 students. There is no minimum number of students per team. The first team from each school is designated at the Varsity team, after that, JV teams can be registered. Some regionals will place limits on the number of JV teams allowed per school in order to accommodate as many schools as possible in their region.
Registration
Online registration is required. Please complete the Online Registration as soon as possible. We will use your registered contact information for communication purposes and to confirm your intention to participate in the 2023-2024 Science Olympiad season. Team member registration is not required during this process, only school and Head Coach or designated Co-Head Coach profiles are required. Once registered, Head Coaches or designated Co-Head Coaches may add additional team members to assist with personal team management.
Membership Fee Schedule
The deadline to register a team is January 15, 2024.
Fee Schedule (by postmark date):
September 28 - January 15: $200 for first team; $175 for second team
Teams are not officially registered until membership fees are received and processed.
Rules Manuals
For the 2023-2024 season, the Division B and Division C Rules Manuals will be in a PDF format on the National Science Olympiad Website. Simply fill out your contact information and agree to the Terms of Service, and the Rules Manuals are yours on your laptop, tablet or phone. The Science Olympiad Mobile Rules App will no longer be available. You will have to enter your email address manually, if you copy and paste the email address it may not work.
