Kentucky State Tournament

Please read below for instructions on how to register your team.

Registration & Payment Instructions

  1. First, register your school.
  2. Second, Add your teams and related team information.
  3. Choose the View Registration Fees button. If it says $0, you have not added teams correctly.
  4. Make your payment. Address all W-9 questions to 

By completing this registration, you are registering to be a part of KYSO & SOINC for 2020-2021.

The deadline to register a team is January 15, 2021. 

Fee Schedule (by postmark date):
Through February 15: $75 per team

Teams are not officially registered until membership fees are received and processed.

$75/team covers all Regional, State and National fees. By registering your team for membership, you are not registering for the State Tournament (that will come later), but there are no additional fees for participating in the State tournament.

Rules Manuals 
For the 2020-2021 season, the Division B and Division C Rules Manuals will be FREE ONLINE for the public in a PDF format on the Science Olympiad Store. Simply fill out your contact information and agree to the Terms of Service, and the Rules Manuals are yours on your laptop, tablet or phone. Those who wish to order print copies of the Rules Manual may still do so. The Science Olympiad Mobile Rules App will no longer be available. You will have to enter your email address manually, if you copy and paste the email address it may not work.

Make sure to complete School/Head Coach or designated Co-Head Coach Registration prior to adding teams.

Some schools require an invoice for payment processing.  Please print a copy of your registration to serve as an invoice.
