Science Olympiad is a nationwide competition, in which students participate in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.
Welcome to the 10th Fairfax High School Science Olympiad Division C Invitational Tournament. We will be running a miniSO Tournament for the School Year 2020-2021.

January 16, 2021 [7:00 PM EST] - Awards Ceremony
Medals will be awarded to top 6 teams by event; trophies will be awarded to top 6 schools.
We will be running 21 events, including helicopter as a trial event, according the following event schedule ; any events not run according to the Nationals have event rules linked on schedule. More information will be shared in future communications.
All events will be run and supervised by Fairfax HS; teams will not be asked for any supervisors or volunteers.
