COLORADO SCIENCE OLYMPIAD
OFFICIAL SITE FOR THE REGIONAL AND STATE TOURNAMENTS
Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics,
and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding
achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels. Invitationals are optional and have no bearing on a team's standings in the official regional/state tournaments.

- September: Rules Manual Released HERE
- October 1: Registration OPENS - $175/team
- December 15: Early Bird Registration Ends - Price Increases to $200/team
- February 1: FINAL Registration Ends - Team #s Assigned
- February 10, 2026: Last Day to Switch Regional (if needed)
- February 20, 2026 @ 4:00PM - ALL EVENT SIGNUPS OPEN
- March 7, 2026: Northern Colorado Tournament @ Fossil Ridge High School
- March 7, 2026: Southern Regional Tournament @ CSU Pueblo
- March 20, 2026 @ 5:00PM - ALL EVENT SIGNUPS OPEN
- April 4, 2026: Colorado State Tournament @ UCCS
