Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.

Transcontinental SO is a partnership between Ridgefield High School SO (CT) and North Creek High School SO (WA). Our mission is to provide free to low-cost opportunities for teams across the nation to compete and have fun. Our transcontinental partnership represents the boundless possibilities of a virtual year.

Important Information


Please register with your state Science Olympiad before registering for the Transcontinental Invitational.

All students must have access to a stable Internet to take their tests during competition weekend.

Payment information: The fee is $30 per team (not school).
