Rickards Science Olympiad Invitational Registration 

Divisions B (grades 6-9) & C (grades 9-12)

Thank you for your interest in the 2023 Rickards Science Olympiad Invitational. In order to compete, the following requirements must be met:

1. Register Online (see below for details). One email per division - Registration is open and ends on October 27th, 2023.
2. Pay required registration fees - $85 per team (see below for fee schedule) (Title 1 schools register for free)

We allow as many teams per school as needed. 

Registration:

Online registration is required, especially due to the available online functions such as submission of team names, self-scheduled event signups, and online scoring. Once registered, Head Coaches or designated Co-Head Coaches may add additional team members to assist with team management. High school students may register as Head Coaches and/or Co-Head Coaches. 

Registration Fees: $85 per team

Teams are not officially registered until we receive a picture of your check.
For the 2023-24 academic year, the registration fees are $85 per team (not per school).
Title 1 Schools can register for free. 

Payment Method – Checks, Purchase Orders, or Credit Card

For Checks or Purchase Orders:

1. Log in 
2. Click on "Register Your School"
3. Click on "Pay Registration Fees" (the system will ask you to add teams if you have done so already). The system will display the total registration fees and the payment method. (If
    your school is Title 1, it should show a registration fee of 0)
4. Follow the information under "Pay by check" carefully to send us a picture of your check then mail the actual check.
        - Make checks payable to School District of Leon County. Address: 3013 Jim Lee Rd Tallahassee, Fl 32301. Envelop Title: “Rickards Science Olympiad Invitational (for Dr. Hall)” Rickards Science Olympiad can be abbreviated as 'SO'.
6. Click the "Pay by Check" button to confirm that you have mailed us your check and sent a picture to rickardssoinvite@gmail.com.

Once we receive a picture of your check, you will receive a confirmation email letting you know that you are officially registered for our competition.

For Credit Cards:

1. Log in

2. Click on "Register Your School"

3. Click on "Pay Registration Fees" (the system will ask you to add teams if you have done so already). The system will display the total registration fees and the payment method. (If

    your school is Title 1, it should show a registration fee of 0)

4. Click Pay by Check to let us know you are going to pay. 

5. Head over to our e-Funds Website

6. Fill in the correct amount and tell us your school name and the number of teams you will be paying for. 

7. Pay following all the directions on the website (there will be approximately a $3 per team convenience fee that the website takes)

8. Forward the confirmation receipt you get to director@rsoi.org and you will be all set to go. 

We need your confirmation in order to be able to confirm you have paid since we can only access the breakdown of payments at the end of every month.
