Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.

We are hosting an in-person tournament on April 9th at the Lane Events Center in Eugene, Oregon.  However, we wanted to host some of our events online to provide an option for those students who cannot attend an in-person tournament.  This interface will ONLY be used for those online events (TAKE TEST WITH LOGIN ID).

Students taking online tests should set up accounts prior to the competition and plan on using their own Chromebook, laptop, or tablet.  Students taking tests from home could also use a PC.

The events hosted online are:

B Division: Disease Detectives (8:15 am), Dynamic Planet (10:50 am), Meteorology (12:05 pm), Green Generation (1:20 pm), Sounds of Music Written Test (2:30 pm), Solar System (2:30 pm)

C Division: Green Generation (10:50 am), Detector Building Written Test (10:50 am), Disease Detectives (12:00 pm), It's About Time Written Test (12:00 pm), Dynamic Planet (1:20 pm), Astronomy (2:30 pm)

Anyone taking an online test from home needs to have an adult witness who will verify that they are using only allowed resources during the test.
