Mount Vernon Science Olympiad 2nd Annual Satellite Tournament
February 20-26, 2027
Divisions B (grades 6-9) & C (grades 9-12)
We have run an in-person tournament with Cornell College for 7 years.
Last year we hosted a satellite tournament the same week as our in-person tournament.
Ribbons will be mailed to the event winners (1st-6th place); this may change due to the number of teams registered.
Thank you for your interest in the Mount Vernon Satellite Tournament. To compete, the following requirements must be met:
- Register Online (see below for details). One email per division - Registration opens on Monday, October 5th.
- Pay required registration fees - $100 per team (see below for fee schedule).
- Complete Required Registration Documents
- Division B Roster of Participating Students OR
- Division C Roster of Participating Students
- In addition to the registration fee, you must provide an event supervisor (write an academic event test or score a building event) OR an event volunteer (score & rank the event). If you do not provide a volunteer, you must pay an extra $50 per school registered.
Limit of 4 teams per school
Registration opens on Monday, October 5th.
Online registration is required, especially due to the available online functions such as submission of team names, self-scheduled event sign-ups, and online scoring. Once registered, Head Coaches or designated Co-Head Coaches may add additional team members to assist with team management. High school students may register as Head Coaches and/or Co-Head Coaches.
Registration Fees: $100 per team
Teams are not officially registered until registration fees are received and processed.
