Update 2: January 29. 2026
Hello all, we have some more updates on the invitational for you!

Event Slate and Modifications
A preliminary event slate and event modifications can be found here. This is preliminary, not every event is finished but we wanted to send an update out with what we had so far. We will send another update when these are all finalized. In an attempt to provide the best practice for State and National tournaments, there will be a lab to set up with the appropriate events. In the case that a team is unable to set up the lab, please email sciolytroyhs@gmail.com and we will make accommodations with the ability to take a modified exam with a dry lab.

Along with the official events, we will be running “fun” and “trial” events. “Fun” events may be taken any day or time the week leading up to the competition typically with heavily modified structures compared to normal events, while “trial” events may be taken any time on the day of the competition with a structure very similar to normal official events.

Trial Events: Clinical epidemiology; Marine Science - Reefs
Fun Events: Anything Goes; “Modern Internet Sociology”; Scioly History

Tournament Schedule and Timeline
A timeline for the invitational, which includes all important dates and deadlines, can be found here. The competition day schedule can be found here. Events can only be taken during the highlighted timeblocks.

Registration Reminders
Registration is currently set to close Feb. 27 at 11:59 PM PST. Registration Payment is due Mar. 6 at 11:59 PM PST. Again, please see the timeline for all important dates and deadlines.

Confidential Coaches Document
The Confidential Coaches Document will be sent to only coaches at a later date with details regarding each event. We will get this out as soon as we can.

We look forward to hosting all of your teams at this year’s Troy Invitational,

Update 1: November 24, 2025
We’re thrilled to announce the Troy High School Invitational, hosted by Troy High School Science Olympiad! This year’s tournament will be run by current Troy team members and Troy Science Olympiad alumni.

Tournament Information
The tournament will take place on March 14, 2026 for Division B teams in the satellite format. All build events will be medal-only, and additional trial events will be announced later. Recorded builds will be due one week before the competition, and the tournament schedule will follow normal timeblocks. Exams are designed to help students prepare for state and national competitions, with questions geared to remain within the rules while exploring concepts at an in-depth level.

Event slate and modifications will be coming soon!

Awards
Awards ceremony will be on March 15, 2026.

Registration is now open! The cost is $150 for the first team and $100 for each additional team from the same school. There is no limit to the number of teams per school.
