Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. For the 2020-2021 season, Arkansas students compete in 14 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.

Science Olympiad introduces a new way to play! My SO is a 9-month, calendar-based set of supports to keep students engaged in Science Olympiad at home, at school and afterschool. Each themed month is connected to a popular Science Olympiad subject like Epidemiology, Space or Structures, and contains free resources like Lesson Plans and STEM Sessions, interviews with leading experts in the field about careers and workforce.
