Science Olympiad Outreach at UGA Tournament Registration
Division C (grades 9-12)
Thank you for your interest in the 2023 Science Olympiad Outreach at UGA season. In order to compete at UGASO's Fall 2023 Div. C UGA Invitational OR the UGA/UNG Fall 2023 Div C Satellite Invitational, the following requirements must be met:
- Register Online (see below for details). One email per division -(This is for IN-Person) 1st Round Registration opens on September 25th, 2023 @ 7 PM EST and closes on October 20th, 2023 @ 11:59PM EST (30 teams). 40 teams will participate for Online Tournament.
- Pay required registration fees - $70 per team for the in-person invitational. For the satellite invitational - $50 for In-state High Schools and $60 for Out-of-state high schools (see below for fee schedule)
- Complete Required Registration Documents (Will be available digitally by the opening of registration)
- Division C Roster of Participating Students

Online registration is required only to generate invoices. Participating teams must also complete an external registration form:

Registration Fees: $70 per team
Teams are not officially registered until registration fees are received and processed. Notification of payment processing will be sent out via email. Questions can be directed to scienceolympiad@uga.edu.
For the 2023-2024 academic year, the registration fees are $70 per team (not per school).

FOR UGA/UNG SATTELITE INVITATIONAL:
What events will be run?
All events with a testing component. Refer to the coach's packet in announcements for rule addendums. Excludes Towers, Flight, Air Trajectory, Scrambler, and Robot Tour.
Team Registration opens on September 25th, 2023 7 PM EST and will close on October 20th, 2023 @11:59 PM EST
Online registration is required, mainly due to the available online functions such as submission of team names, self-scheduled event signups, selecting team headquarters, and online scoring. Once registered, Head Coaches or designated Co-Head Coaches may add additional team members to assist with team management. High school students may register as Head Coaches and/or Co-Head Coaches. Students will then need to be added to your team roster to be assigned to events and be able to compete. Since this is a satellite invitational, coaches must make the log-ins for their students to compete in the tournament.
Participating teams MUST also complete an external registration form ( this is same form as mentioned above):
Event Registration: All teams will compete in the same three events in each time block. Refer to the coach's packet in the announcements for the tournament schedule. Event Registration opens on November 5th, 2023, at 7 PM EST and will close on November 15th, 2023 at 11:59 PM ( on Scilympiad)
Registration Fees: $50 per team

The 2023-2024 academic year registration fees are $50 per in-state Georgia team and $60 per out-of-state team (NOT per school).
