Integration Bee will be self-schedule and it is a separate link. Here is the link for scheduling for "Integration Bee." The event will be held in room 1221. All room assignments are subject to change but we will send out notifications of any changes.
Update 5: January 22, 2024
Description of "Integration Bee"
Integration Bee is a competition in which teams of two people will work together to evaluate a set of integrals using only a pencil and paper (scratch paper provided). The level of this test is basic integration techniques and word problem analysis at a Calculus I level. No integrals will need a calculator and using one is not allowed. There will be a paper section with 45 integrals teams will work on together and a live round afterwards. The paper test will last 30 minutes and there will be an additional 10 minute round of displaying integrals on the board for teams to write down and raise their hands when finished for time bonuses will be written on their test paper backs. No flipping back to the paper test permitted after the time is called. All paper questions are worth 2 points. -1 Point for missing the +C in indefinite integrals. In the final tiebreaker rounds, teams will compete for speed and will score 6 points for the first answered and fully correct: no partial answers will be allowed. The first team to buzz on the tiebreaker rounds will be checked by the proctor. All answers on the written portion must be boxed to be scored and no wrong answers will be counted against a team.

Tournament Schedule and Homeroom Assignments
We are running 3 time blocks to accommodate all of the teams that have registered. Teams 1 - 15 are the "X" block; teams 16 - 30 are the "Y" block; teams 31 - 45 are the "Z" block.
Event rooms and homeroom assignments are listed on the schedule as well. We will try not to make any changes but are still looking for a few event rooms.

Update 2: January 9, 2024
The following forms will be required upon check-in. Please print, sign, and return as indicated.
- Each team will need the "Final Team Policy Form" and "Final Team Registration Form" printed, signed, and returned at check-in. These forms are 1 per team - not 1 per school.
- Each competitor will need the "Physician/Photo Release Form" printed, signed, and returned at check-in. This form is 1 per competitor.
- Each school will need the "Covid 19 Agreement" printed, signed, and returned at check-in.
Update 1: January 5, 2024
- We are in the process of finalizing the scheduling for our tournament and will have it posted by early next week.
- We are only running 1 trial event - "Integration Bee" which will be a calculus-based event. We will post rules by early next week.
- We will send out the link for self-scheduling on Wednesday, January 10th - and it will open up on Friday, January 12th.
- We will post and email the required forms on Monday, January 8th.
We have expanded our invitational to 45 teams this year! We look forward to hosting everyone!
