Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is a nationwide competition. Students compete in events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events.

Each school will send a team of students in grades 4-6 (maximum of eight sixth grade participants on a team) consisting of a maximum of 18 students. Team members will participate in one or more events (total of 17 events) during the course of the day. Each school participating must provide one event supervisor and one event assistant to coordinate and facilitate an event. In addition, one adult per six students (science coach and assistant) must accompany students at the event.
