Volunteer Sign-Up

Thank you for your interest in supporting Science Olympiad @ Berkeley Invitational!

Prospective volunteers should fill out our volunteer form! You may apply to be an Event Supervisor, Test Reviewer, or General Volunteer. These roles are exclusive to UC Berkeley students; both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome!

If you have prior Science Olympiad experience, we encourage you to apply as an Event Supervisor (ES) or Test Reviewer (TR). Event Supervisors write and proctor exams, while Test Reviewers provide feedback on test drafts before the tournament. The deadline for ES/TR applications is December 12, 2025 at 11:59 PM.

No experience is required to be a general volunteer! General volunteers assist with scoring, set-up, student supervision, and other day-of tasks. The deadline for GV applications is January 31, 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Please note that attendance on tournament day is mandatory for ESs and GVs. While TRs are not required to attend, they are highly encouraged to assist as GVs – half-day shifts are available!
