Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.

Welcome to Centerville's Satellite Competition! The competition is Saturday, January 29, 2022. We started hosting Invitations in 1999. The first 18 years the tournament was for Division B only. In 2018, the tournament branched out to include both Divisions B and C. Last year, 2020, we took a year off from hosting a tournament, but are excited to return this year with our first Satellite Tournament!  We hope to our first virtual tournament is engaging while maintaining the high quality that is expected.

Please note: We will not be running the "Wi-Fi Lab" DEVICE for this tournament but we will have a test!

UPDATE 1/29: Build events will be done via submitted video and can be submitted starting Jan. 22 until 11:59 P.M. EST Jan. 29th. 

Time Block Schedule: Events are 50 minutes long
