Science Olympiad is a nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.
Bismarck State College has hosted the competition locally since 1986, helping thousands of area students gain the skills and confidence they need to achieve great things. This year's regional competition at BSC will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2026. We hope to see you there!
- Check-in and team pictures will occur from 7:45am - 8:30am in the Advanced Technology Center (ATC) atrium.
- Event impounds (as noted on the event schedule) will be from 8:00am - 8:30am at the event location.
- The opening ceremony will be from 8:30am - 8:50am in the ATC auditorium. First events of the day begin at 9:00am.
- The day will end with the awards ceremony, scheduled from 2:00pm - 3:00pm, also in the ATC auditorium.
