
Welcome to the Montana Science Olympiad! Science Olympiad is a nationwide competition designed to increase students' interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. The Montana Science Olympiad is hosted annually by the Montana State University Science Math Resource Center.
The Montana state tournament is Thursday February 19, 2026 on the MSU-Bozeman campus.
Montana students choose from 14 events for middle school teams (Division B) and 14 events for high school teams (Division C). Events cover a range of topics, including Earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering.
