Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is a nationwide competition designed to increase students' interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events.

Montana's state tournament is held each year on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving at Montana State University in Bozeman.

Montana students can choose from 14 events for middle school teams and 14 for high school teams. Events cover a range of topics, including Earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is hosted by the MSU Science Math Resource Center.
