Welcome to the Scilympiad home page for Michigan Region 8: Wayne-Monroe Science Olympiad.  We'll be using this site for team registration, and for compiling an e-mail list of the head coaches participating this year.  Tournament format is still undecided, but this virtual platform is available if we need it.  Welcome aboard!

Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.  State has it's own website where you can register your team for State and Nationals.
