FormatThis is a virtual tournament, in the Mini-SO format. Players will compete from home, and events will take place online.
- The Scilympiad platform on https://statescioly.org/tx will likely be used for testing and scoring
- Events will most likely have a video conference set up hosted by the Event Supervisors, for any realtime communication that is needed. TAMUCC currently uses Webex, but it’s possible that we may switch to Zoom. We’ll update everybody when the date gets closer.
We are currently planning to hold all events listed on the state website. Event rules are drawn either from the national rulebook (order free from National Science Olympiad), or from the state website.
The hour-by-hour schedule will be published when it becomes available, by the end of January.
