Science Olympiad competitions are like academic track meets, consisting of a series of 23 team events in each division (Division B is middle school; Division C is high school). Each year, a portion of the events are rotated to reflect the ever-changing nature of genetics, earth science, chemistry, anatomy, physics, geology, mechanical engineering and technology.
We’re excited to host BEARSO, the first Invitational hosted by Bay Area Science Olympiad for both Division B and C. This will also be the first Science Olympiad Tournament running in the new Mini SO model that was announced by NSO last month. We will be using this tournament to test the new Scilympiad.com platform which allows students to take their tests online while communicating with their partner.
